Gold Coast Hinterland
Not to far from the magnificent beaches is some of the world's most beautiful rainforests held within the World Heritage Listed Lamington National Park. This area contains over 500 waterfalls and is truly spectacular. It is also the largest undistrubed tract of sub-rainforest in Australia. The park boasts a comprehensive network of walking trails including a walk to the wreck of the Stinson aircraft which crashed during a flight over the region in the 1930s.

Wineries

Gold Coast Arts Centre
Located on Bundall Road in Surfers Paradise is the largest regional arts and entertainment complex in Australia. The art gallery is open Monday - Friday 10am to 5pm, and weekends 11am to 5pm. The complex also includes a theatre that hosts a number of major productions each year. There is also a cinema, restaurant, and function/community rooms.
