Via Gold Coast Airport
Jetstar, Qantas, Virging Blue, Freedom Air and Australian Airlines all service the Gold Coast Airport which is located in Coolangatta which is approximately 35 mins south of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.
Taxis, Buses, Shuttle buses and Limousines service this airport for travel south or north. Limousines and Shuttle services have to be pre booked, Taxis and Buses are available although there can be a wait during busy periods.
Via Brisbane Airport
Brisbane Airport is serviced by most of the international airlines and domestic carriers. It is located approximately 50mins from the Gold Coast via road and 1hr 30mins by train.
Taxis, Buses, Shuttle buses, Trains and Limousines service this airport for travel south or north. Limousines and Shuttle services have to be pre booked, Taxis and Buses are available although there can be a wait during busy periods. Trains are available direct from the airport at regular intervals although you will also have to organise transport from the train station at either Helensvale, Nerang or Robina into the city which is approximately 15mins - 30mins travel on top of the 90min train ride. Buses also service the train stations.

Public Buses
The Gold Coast has a public bus system servicing the region and for details and timetables call Trans Info on 13 12 30 . Surfside buslines also operate the door to door Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle for pre booked services*. *Door to door services are not available for private residences (registered accommodation houses only). In some cases door to door may mean the nearest safe pick up point.
Taxis
The Gold Coast taxis come in sedans/wagons (4/5 seats) and maxi taxi (9/10/11 seat) they service the area from Tweed Heads through to Pimpama. Peak times and major events can place a lot of load on these services and enduring waiting times can be frustrating, so plan ahead. Ph 131924 or 131008
Rail - AirTrain
A train service runs at regular intervals between the Gold Coast and Brisbane including direct to Brisbane Airport. Stations on the Gold Coast are located at Robina, Nerang and Helensvale from which you can catch a bus or taxi to the inner city or your final destination. They also offer pre-booked station to destination transfer service. Nerang is the station to depart if you are heading to Broadbeach, Surfers, Main Beach or Southport. Limousines
On the Gold Coast limousines are a popular mode of transport due to their competitive pricing and quality of service. Limousines come in the form of stretch limos which seat 6-9 passengers or sedan limos which seat up to 4 passengers - not including the driver.
